Some improvements a new problem.

I'm a Brooks fanatic and buy about 2-4 pairs of Cascadia a year starting with the Cascadia 8. The GTX line is great in winter, but in the past the materials have been where the outer (distal?) metatarsal meets the ankle hits, very thin a week prone to cracking. Good: This latest model seems to have fixed this problem. Isn't that the prettiest Cascadia since 8? Great support, fantastic shoe for anyone struggling with plantar fasciitis. Brooks customer service has been very helpful in the past…

Pros
  • Looks very nice and true to size!
Cons
  • May not be a secure fit for some runners

Grrrrr my new review

This is a great shoe for long stays on your feet. If you go on gravel or rocky terrain, this is for you. The size fits perfectly. They are washable and will not fall apart.

Pros
  • You are so comfortable. I use it for trail running. I like that they are waterproof
Cons
  • May not provide enough cushioning for some runners.

I love these shoes but they started to fray at the ankle.

I liked these shoes but didn't wear them long as the ankle started to wear out. So I sent them back and ordered a new pair. I hoped it was just a pair that had a wear and tear issue.

Pros
  • I ordered a half size up after reading the reviews. They fit perfectly and have a great hold.
Cons
  • May wear out faster than other similar shoes

Ideal! - My review

They fit a little longer than my other Brooks, have more toe room, but it would be great for hiking. very light and very comfortable! I can't wait to get her up the hill.

Pros
  • Can't love her enough Like all my other streams
Cons
  • May be too heavy for some runners

Great shoe for running on trails or in the snow

They fit as expected, this model has more toes which I like. The insoles are supportive and have good cushioning. The outsole is great for running on trails or in the snow. Overall a great running shoe

Pros
  • Great when you're on your feet for hours!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with flat feet.

My favorite shoes! to my rating.

I love these shoes! I use them for everything. I love them so much I'm buying another pair to replace my old ones. My elders still have a lot of life, but they want to look better at work.

Pros
  • Comes in a variety of colors and styles to suit personal preference
Cons
  • May not provide enough cushioning for heavier runners.

narrow width: my rating

This shoe has great looks and probably good support, but it doesn't have a large width, very narrow for me, so I didn't even get to try it.

Pros
  • I love these shoes, never heard of them until my daughter told me about them. will always use this product
Cons
  • I've been wearing them for less than 3 months and water is already breaking through the Gore-Tex. Is there a guarantee for these shoes?

GTX shoes must not allow direct penetration of water

I love the feel of this shoe. Bought the GTX version to get waterproof shoes. The left boot lets water through almost instantly without being submerged in water. There appears to be an issue with the fit of the sole to the upper and it's possible that the stitching wasn't taped properly.

Pros
  • Great product but I liked the colors of the previous version more which were used for trail running and hiking.
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other trail running shoes.

A hole in the toe and rubber that has come off the toe.

I love Brooks shoes and have worn them for many years. Unfortunately after only 6 weeks of wear this shoe has a hole in the toe and the rubber on the front of the toe is coming loose. I wear them hiking and the grip is really good but at this price the shoes should last over 6 weeks. Disappointing.

Pros
  • Light weight for freedom of movement and manoeuvrability
Cons
  • May not be as stylish as other trail running shoes.

Old Brooks is still my favorite.

Cascadias in the photo are at least 4-5 years old and they are still my favorites. The fit is great, the cushioning and arch are perfect for my high arch. I only wear them for walks and not every day.

Pros
  • Like the fit of a shoe. It will improve my running by 100% :^)
Cons
  • May not provide enough grip in certain areas.

They fall apart!: my review

I've had them for two months now and the rubber forefoot has completely come off. I am so disappointed - wish I could go back as I spent money on them!

Pros
  • Ideal for hiking, trail running and other outdoor activities
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners who prefer wider shoes.

These shoes were delivered today. I walked the dogs in the park. I came home and ordered a second pair. yes they are that good Comfortable and super stylish. Great support and well done.

Pros

difference from the previous pair

I have worked with several pairs of cascades and calderas, always dressed in the same size. Something is wrong with the landing of this version. Too wide in the middle. Maybe I had to reduce the size by 0.5? We recommend ordering two sizes to ensure they fit properly.

Pros
  • Provides comfortable support for prolonged wear
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners who prefer zero sag shoes.

Casadia 14 eludes leadership

I am an avid cross country runner and have been riding B Cascadia V7-14 for many years. Yes, the latest incarnation is lighter. Still suitable for off-road use, NO! Too easy. Mesh upper allows dirt to seep through. Back to 13 Technique. This is miss.

Pros
  • This shoe is very comfortable. I go for a walk every day and I love these shoes!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all foot types

Keep your board warm in the snow

I bought these last minute before a trip to Colorado in February. I was planning on wearing them only occasionally but due to an injury I couldn't snowboard so they became my favorite shoe. Every day I spent hours out in the snow while my family went snowboarding. The shoes almost always stayed warm. The only time there was an issue was towards the end of the day when it was snowing and we were at a higher elevation (about 12,000 feet) on the subway. After about 1 hour and 15 minutes at this…

Pros
  • Breathable design prevents excessive sweating and odor build-up
Cons
  • May cause discomfort to runners with sensitive skin.

Brooks Cascadia 14 - my new test

I love these sneakers! They never hurt like other running shoes and hold up well on a variety of surfaces. It is inconvenient to walk on asphalt when necessary.

Pros
  • You
Cons
  • For $130 I would expect at least a slight flex in the shoe. Also looks cheap.

Ideal for rocky terrain

I was running on rocky terrain and my boots were killing my legs and knees. because I had the wrong shoes! When I first walked in it, it seemed like I was floating in the clouds. I'm so glad I bought them. Brooks makes shoes of very good quality.

Pros
  • Light, good grip, excellent cushioning.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for winter running or slippery conditions.

Brooks makes good shoes.

Brooks shoes that I have worn and worn for years. It's convenient for me to order online because I know I'll get what I need every time. I work in a school and wear running shoes to be prepared for anything. They may be overkill for concrete floors but I like the support and good grip. The mesh upper keeps my feet cool while riding and dries quickly when it rains.

Pros
  • Great shoes and great customer service.
Cons
  • Expensive compared to other trail running shoes.

Great all round hiking shoe

These shoes are great for running. They are the perfect combination of a comfortable, lightweight upper and a great outsole. The outsole has a great profile and they feel very stable. Well done.

Pros
  • You are beautiful. may need to take it down a bit, not as comfortable as the Ghost but still good.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for overpronators or underpronators.

Brooks has ruined a once great shoe.

I've worn Brooks Cascadias for 30 years. The 14s are half a size smaller and significantly lighter than previous years. Apparently they also changed the shape of the pads. I'll probably have to look for a new brand. Brooks just left my shop.

Pros
  • My feet love walking in these shoes.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for runners with high arches.
