the machine broke immediately after the 90-day guarantee expired

This machine worked fine. My wife enjoyed sewing masks for children and sewing pajamas. After about 100 days of sporadic and light use, the machine stopped working. I took it to a brother's repair center in the area and was told they would not honor the warranty as the 90 days had just expired. It cost us about as much money to repair as it did to buy new. Model.

Pros
  • Free sleeve for sewing cuffs, sleeves. Advanced Needle Threading System
Cons
  • Can't remember

Brother quality, ease of use

The YouTube feature helped me refresh this particular machine. @nikkisew. She had two. I've wanted one for a long time and when I saw it and it was a good price I jumped at it. Brother have always made quality products and they were well packaged, had lots of goodies to get you started and they roll up easily. Insert the bobbin, easy threading of the upper thread. Runs like a dream. I hope it gives our house good life and service. Update does not stay up to date.

Pros
  • 100 unique built-in sewing stitches including 8 types of automatic one-step buttonholes
Cons
  • Older model

Unlike sewing machines, these machines are not durable. Anyway, I ordered this refurbished one expecting it to be tested to make sure everything works and is in good working order. The part holding the…
