    This is the worst car you can buy.

    You get what you pay for. No automatic bobbin winders or anything like that, and I figured I wouldn't mind. I do. In the heat of sewing, I hate stopping and fumbling with the bobbin. The needle often sheds the thread, so I experiment with the tension. It's a very inexpensive machine and I wasn't expecting much, but the quilting table is very cool and overall pretty quiet. You will not feel any pain. Above is the first review I wrote. EDIT _ this is the worst product I can think of. I can't…

    It's happened too many times to count, and the only good news is that I've gotten really good at it.

    After suffering with this car for a few weeks I returned it. I'm new to sewing so I decided to buy a beginner sewing machine. This machine kept getting stuck and the fabric continued to run into the feed dogs. I found a video online that detailed how to unscrew the plate and take everything apart to release the fabric. It's happened too many times to count and the only good news is that I actually learned how to take the car apart. The fabric came out with a tangle of tangled threads the size…

    Missed stitches on THREE of them bought brand new.

    Here's a suggestion: Studio I run in my town. I taught on the Brother XL-2600i (Sew Advance Sew Affordable) for six years. They have endured hours of daily use well. After two eventually fell in the dust, I looked for replacements only to find that Brother no longer makes them. I researched a ton and decided to buy 3 of these and try them before replacing them all. Since it is impractical for students to use machines of different styles, I decided to test only one of them in the project. 2 days
