can't just set up for night

can't just set up for night, so it only takes large shots of leaves moving on trees, also motion detection is not good, I can dance in front of it in 5 minutes and it only does 2 shots when I set it to 1 second trigger. In addition, my date and time always change, no matter which time zone I have set

Pros
  • Great price

It's a good gaming camera, but it has its drawbacks

Images are pretty clear at about 30 feet and then get blurry the further you go... Day shots are good, night shots are good enough to match to let you know there's movement. Alerts are delayed from 5 minutes to 24 hours with continuously full internet service bars. I caught 2 invaders and over a dozen deer in a month.

Pros
  • Hands-free
Cons
  • Security

Takes great photos and the motion detection is very accurate.

The setup was a bit tricky as it required going to a website and manually entering all the numbers for the camera and also the initial setup was a bit tricky so I'll give that a star docked. Other than that it's a great camera, I didn't expect anything else from a tan, the shots are crisp, very good quality and excellent motion detection (it doesn't catch birds all day like the previous camera during the day) and very clear night shots like you can see photos. Battery usage is also very good…

SD CARD ERROR best in Game & Trail Cameras

The camera came with an SD card and immediately reported a card error. I researched the problem online and the website said to format it using a computer. Still does not work. I tried THREE other SD cards and none worked. The nearly 20 year old SD card technology this camera is supposed to run on doesn't work. I have requested an exchange for a new camera, I will try again and if it doesn't work the second time then there is no third chance. This is a $200 camera, so expect a lot more…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • unreliable

Expensive wireless subscription with limited features

I have mixed feelings about the Browning Defender Wireless Pro Scout Cellular Trail Gaming Cam. The camera works well in both day and night mode. The picture quality is good, but not outstanding. My biggest disappointment was the wireless (portable) capabilities of this camera. My first disappointment was that I can only record 10 seconds of video in wireless mode. You also have to wait several hours for the video files to upload to your account. It's just not enough for my application. My…

Maybe think twice

I bought 2 of these cameras to guard the farm. I set both to record every second at the fastest shutter speed. I noticed I wasn't getting many photos after being in front of the camera many times, so I did a test. I spent 15 minutes walking in front of cameras set at 1 second intervals and took a total of 14 shots. I have new Li-Ion batteries and San Disk cards. The service said it was probably because of the cold. The! It's 30 degrees outside! Of course, a cell thermometer reads 25 degrees…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not fashionable

Great camera, but there are a few things to note. I would buy it again

5 stars but considering the Strike Force app it would be 4. The photos I have attached were uploaded from the app so the quality is standard definition. It is easy to set up and install the camera. Open an account with Strike Force. It's easy to set up, but read your camera's instructions on how to set it up and specifically format your SD card before you plan to use it. Very good shots, reaction speed and many additional settings. Great battery life so far. Things to know: - Excellent support…
