Works best in brushes

Works great. The bristles are stiff enough to clean the walls of the tubes, but not so hard that they cause problems with proper cleaning.

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • Neutral

Too flexible for my use

It's extremely flexible, I'm not sure how it can be used for drain cleaning. It kept flexing even before it hit the 3" pipe, let alone the pipe it was designed for (the smaller one). Finally returned it.

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Good but not great

NOT FOR DRAINING! fits household needs

If you are looking for a sink/shower drain brush THIS IS NOT GOOD unless you are working with a straight run of pipe. The head of this brush does NOT bend, so you CANNOT pull it through a J-trap or twist your elbow 90 degrees. One could probably use the word "clean dryer vent" if the whorls aren't too pronounced and the diameter is large, but I haven't tried it yet.

Pros
  • Nicely
Cons
  • Style 90

It's strong enough, but not easy to use

Like I said, it's well made and definitely long enough, but I bought it to blow my dryer vent through the dryer, and it is not stiff enough so that it cannot be twisted and shifted so that it falls into the ventilation curve. I don't know dressers? I didn't have to use it for this, but I'll try it in my bathroom, which drains very slowly. They used to have a carbide thing called a snake that was flexible enough to get the job done but stiff enough to maneuver around corners or into Ls. I will…

  • Don't waste too much time

Pros
  • Brushes for cleaning tubes, pipes and cylinders.
Cons

Fairly good quality

My shower drain was a bit clogged when I saw soap bubbles forming while showering. It's larger in diameter than most other brushes I've seen, so I'm glad I stumbled across these. I tried to push it with all my might but I couldn't, but apparently it really went deep enough because after that the water drained better and I was able to get some dirt out of the pipe.

Pros
  • Detergent
Cons
  • Very expensive
