Great value, you won't have to travel 35 miles to find a shop that sells it. Always easy to start. I'm a chub, I wear it when I travel, I work on projects while I wait, so I always wind it on the spools first to keep the strands from tangling.

I embroidered text on a large wall hanger, so it took quite a bit of embroidery floss. It's going to be pricey so I was happy to see this product in bulk at such a reasonable price. It arrived quickly, was well packaged and I think it's worth the money. I had no trouble separating it for embroidery, it was easy to work with, didn't sew, looked great when finished and generally did everything it was supposed to do perfectly. I am very happy that I bought it.

The color is exactly as in the photo; dark gold. It's not quite golden gold, but a shade or two darker. Perfect when you want a more subtle, muted gold. Not great if you want bright and vibrant. Pros: The floss is of good quality and looks the same as the DMC floss I ordered directly from DMC (in different colors). Bad: The color rubs off heavily on the fabric.
