Soft and cozy: Yarn

I used it for a blanket. He is extremely soft. Because of the crochet I used it will be heavy and warm.

Super soft yarn

Off white is hard to find. This is a great neutral. I use smooth, soft yarn for cloaks, sweaters, etc. It's warm but breathable, doesn't itch and washes well.

  • Availability
Cons
  • Color not required

Good price best yarn

I used this yarn to make a baby blanket and liked it so much I bought it again to make another one. This cream color is so calming and the yarn itself is so soft. I like it very much and will buy Karon again.

The best yarn you can buy

Simply Soft Caron is my favorite crochet yarn. I have been crocheting for over 60 years. It is very soft, has a nice sheen and is very easy to apply. I use this brand all the time in many different colors

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

the yarn is soft and comfortable to work with - until you try to pull it at the end, right in the middle of the product there is a huge knot inside that I couldn't untangle. It's disgusting that I had to throw out a huge piece because it got tangled up in it. I ordered more of a different color so let's hope this order is better. Check the machine you are using to wind this yarn.

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • embarrassed

Dinner is soft. suitable for knitting and crocheting

I love the feel of this yarn, it's so soft and good for a baby blanket that I use. I have a few disadvantages, however. One is almost impossible to pull out from the middle. Constantly goes out in knots. The second downside for me is that it gets very blurry when you work with it. I've used other soft yarns before and never had this problem.

Pros
  • Medium #4; aka Aran Knitting Yarn, Worsted or Afghan Heavy Yarn
Cons
  • Not Safe

Big disappointment in product quality

I need more of this yarn to finish the slider. this seller again. Photo #1 shows a gray yarn intermittently going through a cream color. You have to constantly stop and cut those sections. Photo #2 is a label with a production date of November 19, 2015, which explains why the white color is different from the yarn I started my project with. My original yarn was the same yarn but the production date was October 9th 2019 I have no idea they didn't have to ship the yarn for FOUR YEARS…

Pros
  • Gauge 4 inches = 18 sts on size 8 needle; recommended needle H8
Cons
  • Not as thick as the other options

Ideal for knitters, knitters take care of themselves

Caron Simply Soft is thinner than worsted yarn but thicker than sports yarn. When knitting, this is absolutely attractive, when crocheting, a certain amount of sensitivity is required. The yarn doesn't stretch at all, so I've found that depending on the stitch I'm making, I need to use multiple hook sizes - sometimes two hooks in the same stitch - to get an even tension pattern and avoid big holes at the top of the stitch meshes. The direction of the twist is perfect for knitting, so often 4…

Pros
  • Same color batch for all skeins in bag; Hand wash and dry flat
Cons
  • Rosette required
