    Splits and looks more like weight DK

    This yarn is soft but oh my god it's terrible. It splits so easily and has no body at all and it's definitely not worsted weight but more like DK. Weak, breaks like crazy, just.ugh. Avoid!

    Quality is the most important thing

    The yarn seems different, the thickness seems different. i love color Caron Simply Soft is my favorite yarn. Baby clothes, shawls and hats work best with this yarn. Costs have increased in some stores, which is not very encouraging. But I love yarn for the color and softness.

    My favorite crochet brand

    Soft only brand Caron is my brand when I crochet and I usually buy it at Walmart but lately it seems like it's gone off the shelves and so have I I was halfway through the project and needed more of that particular yarn, I didn't want the color or texture to suddenly change. The price of these three packs is very fair as I used to buy a skein at Walmart for $6 plus tax.

    Yarn seems different, weight seems different Love the colour. My favorite yarn is Caron Simply Soft.Baby clothes, scarves and hats are best with this yarn.The price has gone up in some stores which is not great.But I like this yarn for the colors and the softness.

    Not bad, but not the easiest for all drawings

    I am relatively new to crocheting and bought this yarn for a quilting pattern that was simply called Worsted. I never realized that there isn't a standard thickness for this, so it doesn't work with the J hook as the template says. However, once I noted on the label that this was the best yarn for the H-hook, the pattern was a lot easier to make, although it did require some finishing work.     Caron Simply Soft (CSS) in Dark Sage, a pleasant dark green. I paired it with pistachio for the quilt, but it goes well with just about any Caron color I can think of. It is present in Simply Soft Paints in both the river blue-green colorway and the garden pink-green colorway. CSS is thinner than worsted yarn but thicker than sports yarn.
