    One step closer. best in case

    I should have been more careful I guess if you look around you'll see there's only one step to take. I would think 1 step on a truck would just look weird and I would always sell a product like this as a pair but I guess that's just me. -1 star for missing words in the title/title of the "One Step" line. I think I'll buy another one.

    Sturdy but difficult to install

    This step was very difficult to install on a 2015 Dodge Ram 1500. My husband, a very skilled guy, had to modify (drill) and kick the truck to get it running. Now that he's on it, he's very strong. But it was real work! We first bought one to see how it works. (After doing some research to see which step should fit.) While it looks fun to only have a step on the passenger side, he said he wouldn't add one on the driver's side. He installed this on the passenger side for me due to a recent back…

    STEP SCREW IS A WEAK POINT

    INSTRUCTIONS ARE NOT DIFFICULT IT REQUIRES SOME SKILL BUT NOT DIFFICULT. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THE SCREW THAT HOLDS THE STEP IN THE BRACKET IS NOT LONG ENOUGH AND THE THREAD IN THE ALUMINUM BREAKDOWN IS A WEAK POINT, THE FIRST TIME REMOVED THEM THE BRAKE STARTED TO BEND IN USE SO THERE WAS A WELDER WELD THEM. I NOW FULLY TRUST THE BLOCK. A LITTLE BLACK PAINT AND THEY LOOK PERFECT, THE WELDING IS VISIBLE IF YOU BEND DOWN AND LOOK CAREFULLY BUT IF YOU LOOK WHAT'S NEAR MY TRUCK. DO YOUR BUSINESS…

    Looks cool but there are some minor issues

    So the first review is just the first part of the build. There is no instruction how to assemble the step. It's not hard to figure out just by looking at the picture, so it doesn't matter. My biggest problem was getting the crotch into the bracket. Even in the company video you can see where the matte finish was peeling off because the hole was so narrow it had to be hammered. I used a plastic mallet. Also the screws that tighten the bracket on the first few threads around the kick bar…
