Good product, poor performance

The stand arrived without all the hardware. There were several loose nuts/bolts/washers in the box but about half were missing (they may have fallen out on the way - there were leaky slots in the corners of the box). There is nowhere to request a replacement nut and bolt kit.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Serves its purpose but is not elegant

Robust. Check and tighten all screws even though it comes mostly pre-assembled. On newer model trailers, the flagpole bumps against the pole and suffers severe wear from the fiberglass pole. Use tape to protect. The mounting kit is not sufficient to mount a later model carrier to a later model trailer. The locking buttons are difficult to use, it's a three-handed task to raise or lower the stand.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • High price

The luggage rack itself is indispensable for carrying. The problem, however, lies with the two buttons that raise and lower the strut to access the rear of the trunk. The buttons are incredibly difficult to press while moving the stand at the same time, they stick and cannot be pressed without using something hard like a nail. I would give 5 stars if the raise and lower function was easier.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Without power

Very difficult to raise and lower

Acts as an additional carrier. But it is very difficult to raise and lower it. To do this, the buttons on both sides must be pressed simultaneously. But they cannot be pressed deeply enough with the fingers. Even trying hurts. I have to use the flat end of a tool to do this. This is a major design flaw and the buyer's video shows it's very different. Luckily, the trailer supports access from both sides. So I'll probably leave the trunk in the lower position and get access to the trailer…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Poor product that blocks access to the trailer

This is a great addition to a Burley truck. However, Burley really missed a great opportunity to make it workable with a cargo trailer. I have mine less than 2 months old and the left side is stuck. It takes a lot of effort to move it. Next, while you can raise and lower the post to access the cargo trailer, it only goes up a little over 3 inches. Difficult to place or remove items in the cargo trailer. The rack must have a rise of at least 5 inches. Also, make sure you keep checking all nuts…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Almost never

Great addition to the Nomad.

I like the shelf very much and I use it. My only disappointment is that after a month one of the screws from the bracket mount below has disappeared. I even check the system regularly, but it must be loose. Not a big deal as I just replaced it with another screw but I no longer have the plastic bushing that was there. Great addition to the trailer. As for other reviewers complaining of difficulties navigating up and down for access, I found very few problems navigating up and down. I just push…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Easy maintenance

Wingit Mount - Bike Racks and Bags

Rack received in good condition. During installation, however, I noticed that I only have one of the two upper brackets with a hole. Not sure how secure the stand is with only one side attached to the top. Worried that when cycling, the right side will enter the rain cover and damage it. Consider drilling a hole so the other side of the bracket can be machined. For $85, I expected more from both the Burley and Revane. This week I'm going to the hardware store to find an alternative solution…

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Useless features
