Great range finder, good for the golf course GPS Modules

I like the combination of traditional range finder and GPS scope. I like the clarity of the eyepiece. Things are very clear, even at a great distance. I don't like that I have to charge the battery every time I use it. It has no tilt or elevation correction. I don't mind at all, but some users prefer these features. To my knowledge, there are no hybrid rangefinders with such features. I use this rangefinder almost every day and am very satisfied.

Not mountable for GPS, finders and accessories

Older Bushnell rangefinders had a small screw so you could buy a mount for your car. Once you've driven to your ball, you can just look at it to see your middle/front/middle yards if you don't want/need to shoot yards as well. It would also make it easier for playmates to see these ads without lifting the device. This model doesn't have it, so it's in the shopping cart and I have to pick it up every time to look at it. I know that sounds insignificant and that I'm lazy. But I'm not sure why…

    The worst of both worlds

The worst of both worlds when it comes to range finders. I like laser rangefinders, but they all fail unexpectedly and always on the third hole. The previous hybrid rifle used a rechargeable battery that lasted 20 shots when using only one laser. Unfortunately, this model has a battery for GPS (good for 2-3 laps) and a separate battery for the laser. Not what I wanted but said I liked the item. It is very accurate and gives a lot of information. Using GPS and laser, it shows the distance to the

Not everything I was hoping for but does what I need

I really miss the old model! I hate that I have to reload every round! I find the clamshell useless due to the fact that I no longer hang it on my bag because I have to bring it in every night and charge it, this clamshell case just dangles empty in my bag as I have another bag of rechargeable items carry with them. Yes it hits my targets about 90% with ease and yes it gives me GPS data all the time ok it feels good in the hand too but I still miss the old model a lot! As far as I know there…

    Pros
    • I finally have it
    Cons
    • Only available in black

I read numerous reviews on this product before purchasing and many say it just won't turn on. As you notice, they (Bushnell) made the 'Select' button front and center RED. Most people associate the RED button with power (myself included), so it's reasonable to assume that the RED button is used to turn on the GPS. Well, the design team, in their wisdom, chose to use the soft gray golf button as the GPS power button, and what's more, it's not very clear in the limited and difficult-to-follow…

Works well but GPS battery life is not very good

I gave this 5 stars even with poor GPS battery life. The price is close to what only a line of sight finder would have (two separate batteries). The GPS works every time you turn it on, so it drains the battery. There are steps you could take to improve this, at least putting the screen to sleep until you wake it up with a button or hack. You will also have trouble using the magnetic case as the screen is on the side. It appears in the viewfinder but your buttons are on the side, doable but…

If you are looking for this device for GPS function, DO NOT BUY IT.

I bought this unit for a friend because I also had one that I bought about 3 years ago. I felt it was a good unit but I've changed my mind. I've been buying Bushnell Golf Range Finder since 1995. And this Bushnell hybrid was my fourth. All of my previous Bushnell rangefinders still work and I've only bought new ones as technology improved. However, this is the worst Bushnell I have ever had. My problem is with the GPS which has a rechargeable battery. The documentation states that you should be

Now you have no excuse for not hitting the ball from the right distance.

This is the latest version of Bushnell's hybrid GPS range finder and golf laser range finder. It's lighter than the previous one, but has two improvements over the previous version: It includes GPS information on an internal laser screen, so you can see both the actual distance from the pin and the distance between greens and front/back patches, one second improvement adds their technology boost to the model. The device works well, is easy to use and quickly brings up a needle when using a…
