Does everything I need

This new model has a lot of bells and whistles. In fact, I prefer the older version, which is easier to use. This is good, but it's overkill.

Pros
  • Fits a lot
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Keep it handy! - GPS, finder and accessories

I've used the Phantom 2 5 or 6 times on unfamiliar routes. The GPS finds the course fairly quickly and is intuitive to use. Also, the information provided is more than adequate for a 15 handicap like me. Don't forget to download the course to your phone for a faster start before the round.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Easily repairable

The original Phantom is more comfortable to use

The Phantom 2 is bigger/bulky than the previous model. Too big for my pocket. If I clip it to the belt loop, it dangles awkwardly and bumps my elbow when I put it on. I don't like that the on/off button has additional functions. It took me many minutes and many attempts to turn it off after leaving the golf course. Aggravating!

Bargain at a Great Price

If you're looking for a GPS navigator, check out the Bushnell Phantom 2. It is accurate and easy to use. You can use it in three ways: you can attach it to your bag with a bracket, you can also use a magnet that attaches to a golf cart, or you can securely attach it to a golf bag with a metal clip. You can also use it to keep an account. I highly recommend the Bushnell Phantom 2.

Better than the original

This GPS unit is excellent. The battery charge is sufficient for at least 4 shots on 18 holes. It comes with a clip that easily attaches to your golf bag instead of a thin metal clip like the original. The front/middle/backyards are large and easy to see. It even displays a shot distance calculator. This is a very useful device that I use in conjunction with my laser range finder. The preset stylus positions are also fairly accurate, which is a huge improvement over the original Phantom. The…

A good product; Terrible supplier

My husband found the GPS unit to be a great addition to his range finder. His feedback was that it is accurate front/center/back on each green and moves automatically from hole to hole. This is especially useful on days when you're just running cart tracks, or for an initial reading when you're driving someone whose golf kart is 20 yards from your ball and you want to bring back an approximate reading of their corresponding club. Most of the holes I find in the middle of the green +/- a few…
