A couple of times it has tripped and reset on my RV's landing legs with no problems. Much better than changing fuses when you have something that blows all the time (but doesn't damage the element that blows on the fuse).
Got this little gem for a tongue powered electric jack on my caravan. There's nothing worse than a blown 30 amp fuse because the reed socket manufacturer didn't build in limiters to prevent you from blowing the fuse.
Saved me 3k it would cost to replace the seat on our hyundai santa fe (excessive traction on the engine blows the fuse) a bit high but it worked. weakened, but we sealed it just in case. so far so good, it keeps resetting, saving you from constantly changing fuses.
Used in small electric vehicles. Works as expected. Resets after a few seconds. Turning off again after a reset is faster. At initial power up, there is an expected delay in tripping the circuit breaker. The detail is quite high. This is more than 2 times the height of ATM fuses. So keep this in mind if your fuse box is flat or if you are using a waterproof single in-line fuse holder.
The circuit breaker was too thick to fit in the Ford E450 fuse box. I tried to return it and it was a joke as the shipping cost they wanted to charge me was about double the value of the item which resulted in an estimated refund (as estimated by the Revain website) from $0.00. With nothing to lose I used an angle grinder to sand down the two sides near the pins and I managed to get inside the fuse box. It conducts and I can only hope it still works as a circuit breaker. The manufacturer wouldβ¦
