Advanced 750 Internal Aquarium Filter Review

a decent pump that uses it in a 20 gallon turtle tank. The current is very strong for the size and price. Works 8-10 weeks, no problems.

Received this for an axolotl aquarium but did not use as the current/drain was too strong and I couldn't turn it off at all. There was a little cog on the side but it didn't seem to do anything when I turned it one way or the other - still very strong churn. If you need a strong filter, it should work just fine.

This is a really good filter but it has a very strong water output. I had a 20 gallon length and it was too much for my goldfish. I use it on my water changes to pick up any excess dirt that my gravel vacuum didn't pick up and cleans the water very quickly. Recommended for use in a larger tank unless you have fish that like strong currents.

I bought this as an extra filter for my aquarium. When I received the device I decided to cut the included sponge filler in half. By installing half the sponge filler I was able to create a space suitable for adding a phosphate/silicate remover, purigen or charcoal. In this configuration, the sponge acts as a pre-filter for the bag media. I gave 5 stars because it was exactly what I expected and I was able to modify it for my specific needs. A few notes.
