🔍 Optimized FRAM Extra Guard CA10835 Air Filter for Lexus and Toyota Vehicles Review

Dealer is asking $75 for a replacement. I laughed at the guy and bought this. Easy quick install and great result for 2015 Toyota 4Runner Trail!

Perfect fit for my 2016 Toyota 4Runner. I installed it in less than 3 minutes. The price is normal for the Fram brand. The STP brand is available at Autozone for $10 less if you don't want to pay for Fram.

When purchasing this air filter I was concerned that it would not have a cushion layer as many have mentioned in the reviews. just wanted to let everyone know that the one i received on 20/07/2021 had padding and am very happy with it

This filter is shown with a mesh back as a strong, well built filter, even though it's actually very cheap and flimsy! Not as shown on the packaging. Also comes in a thin box with no gain filter 🙄🙄😂 This is the cheapest fram filter I've ever seen!

I paid more for this filter than other brands based on Fram's brand and reputation. The product received does not have a foam pre-filter as shown in the third image in the ad. Should have listened to other reviews with the same complaint. Will buy Denso or other brands for future service needs. See attached photo for comparison with Denso filter removed from vehicle.

I bought this to replace the original filter in my 2011 Lexus GX460 which was an OEM part. A thin foam rectangle was attached to this filter. When I received this replacement filter, it was the exact same filter; It was the same manufacturer (Denso), same part number, and even had the same rectangular foam. I'm not sure how much it costs to get this from a dealer parts store but I think it can't be much different and is most likely more expensive. I am 100% satisfied with this product.

First of all I have to say that the filter I received was white. It wasn't yellow like the picture. However, it fitted my 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser perfectly. It appears to be a good quality product but the only thing I like about it is that there is no foam padding attached to the top. Air filter for additional filtration. Caution: If you are considering this filter because it has a foam pad as shown in the picture, the filter you receive will most likely not have this pad. I was very disappointed when I received my filter and it didn't come with a foam pad. The product name refers to the "Extra Guard Panel" air filter. So don't you think it's referring to the extra performance that the foam provides? I will still use the filter because I need it but do not purchase this product if you are looking for an air…
