I examined these filters and the original filter from my Blueair 211+ side by side and found no difference. All the plastic parts of the frame look like they're made from the same mold, and the filter media looks the same too, just at a better price than theirs.

BlueAir filters have almost doubled in price since I bought my 211 four years ago. I should have known this would happen. And every six months that damn light turns red. Mine is starting to wheeze like it has emphysema. are you like this It's good that other entrepreneurs saw a free niche in the market and began to produce fakes. I have no complaints about this replacement. After all, it's not an ink cartridge. I like it.

Disappointed. I was hoping to find a decent fake as real Blueair filters have almost doubled the price. However, the internal carbon filter of this brand is significantly less dense than real Blueair filters. You can easily spot it by holding both up to the light. Therefore I distrust the filter ability. I will try, but unfortunately I feel like buying an overpriced Blueair again.

At this point the Cabiclean filter appears to be very similar or identical to the OEM blue filter but 70% cheaper. This filter is the same size and appears to be made from the same material. I only set it to 1 month so can't comment on lifespan but my blue filter lasted about 6 months before the light came on. Hope it lasts as long. The Prestine filter on the left is the Cabiclean filter and the dirty filter on the right is the original filter after 6 months of use.

Bought one of these and a BlueAir filter for a 211+ system at the same time. The BlueAir filter is wrapped in plastic, but this one is not. I'm not sure if this affects the life of the activated carbon part, but let's assume that this filter is already just picking up chemicals from the ambient air/moisture in contact with the activated carbon. I thought I'd give the original manufacturer's replacement filter a try based on the great reviews, but at least the charcoal filter is noticeably rarer. If you hold the original filter up to the light you can see how dense the activated carbon filter is, while with this Cabiclean filter you can clearly see the HEPA filter plates through the activated carbon. I'm sure someone with the right equipment will even notice that they cut some corners on the HEPA filter part, but that's harder to see…

I think it works fine but when I first opened the box and installed the filter there was a smell of oily plastic. It went away, but didn't go away until the 3rd day. So if you are sensitive to such things, use a brand name. The filter material is not as thick as the Blue brand and the pleats are not as big, so the filtering area is smaller. I don't see any difference from the full price of the original Blue Air. Other reviewers have given good photos and I'm so glad I found a cheaper option. After a month of use, this filter does everything the OEM does. I have really severe allergies and asthma so I can tell if this isn't doing the job. Quality and fit are perfect!
