This product is rubbish

I took my time, I measured accurately. But this product doesn't create a straight line. I even pinched it to keep it straight. Now my new kitchen makeover looks like crap because the hardware is wobbly and crooked. We give back this garbage. So disappointed. Businesses should not be allowed to sell such junk products.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Negative gift

So easy!: Tool Accessory

I decided to make my own handles. My son told me about the device he used and without telling me which one I chose... the same one he used and loved! I'm a 66 year old do-it-yourself grandma and have had very few issues with this. I slipped my hand a few times when I got tired and twisted a few times, but I just drilled holes a bit bigger and moved them around.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Not sure

Good value for money, best in power and hand tools

Easy to use. This is my first job so assembly was a little tedious with no instructions or explanation. I have heard that they may be inaccurate so I am happy to report that this is not the case. I check squareness, check the measurement with a steel ruler, I know it's right and it fits. Too bad it's not plastic, but for the price I expected. I'm still happy with it and use it quite often in certain applications.

No square. Molded plastic

After checking a closet door, I noticed that the handle was not vertical. After checking and rechecking my measurements with the tool, I found that the longer plastic splint was warped about 2mm square from end to end. This caused my holes to deviate from that edge. Luckily I tested this on a closet door that was going to be filled and painted, so it wasn't a huge loss. I recommend a solid jig or a precision quality jig that doesn't deform as easily as plastic.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Lots of things

I used it to drill holes in all the cupboards and drawers in my kitchen. It's cheap but works well if you take your time and make sure it's flush mounted. It's easy to drill misaligned holes if you're not careful because cheap materials bend. I tested it several times on tree cuttings and figured it out. If you want something that will last, spend your money and buy the best. Maybe the thing is suitable for 2-3 kitchens. mines in the trash after serving their own!

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons

It's great, low price but it's plastic.

He will do whatever he is billed for. It even comes with a nice case. My only problem is that the vertical part is attached with two screws. If you set it up, drill all the holes, then put off the next 4 years, buy! My problem was that I attached the trains on the go and took them off in between. This means I had to carefully measure the angle every time I assembled it for use. That's because of how you tighten the 2 screws whether it's really 90 degrees or not. And it's a little PITA to check…

Really great tool that saved us from attaching handles

I am very glad we bought this device. Drilling into new cabinets is a pain, but we tested it on a piece of wood and lined everything up. My brother-in-law gave us one of those plastic tools with pre-set holes and spacing, but it wasn't exactly centered in our cabinets, and some of our handles were unmarked. It was also only for boxes. The adjustable nature made it so that we could perfectly center both cabinet doors and drawers of any size. The tool is not 100% necessary, but I found it more…
