This was used to connect my MacBook Air to mine.

This was used to connect my Macbook Air to my monitor. Worked for 4 months and broke. It was used daily but stayed in the same place and was not mistreated in any way. UPDATE: Cable Matter's customer service is fantastic and they contacted me to send me a free replacement after I posted this review. The replacement came, everything works. I am sure even if this one stops working they will fix it. Thanks, the cable is important!

This is a good product. My complaint is mainly related to the design.

This is a good product. My complaints are mostly related to the design of the Surface Pro 3 that I use it with. The Mini DisplayPort on the Surface sits at the top, and once it's plugged in, this cable hangs down and is pulled down by part of the adapter. This makes the connection quite finicky. Don't move much (or at all) when using this. Is there an interface? Spring for longer cord. This works great, it's just finicky.

Seller sent a replacement when it stopped working

Worked fine for 5 months and suddenly stopped working. I plug in the cable, it works for a few seconds, then it shuts off the slightest movement. I didn't bend it, I didn't use it very hard. I've always taken care of it when taking it with me or using it with different screens and always kept it in good condition. It still looks new from the outside, but I think the cables inside were cheap; they broke after 5 months. UPDATE 9/14/14: The seller contacted me to send a replacement after my…

Don't take cheap ones, this one works

Usually always works - we have over 20 of these in the Mac store and for some reason they often work better than HDMI/DVI connections, Apple/Mac is the bad guy, I guess it never helps or even cares. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because sometimes these devices break, I'm not sure if it's the Thunderbolt connector or the electronics - I have 3 unreliable/bad ones on my desk (and probably over 20 with daily use) - several are expected for users who connect and disconnect multiple…

Suddenly stopped working

I never travel with this cable. It is firmly connected to my monitor with the VGA cable. So, without any rough use, it suddenly starts flickering on my display and fades out every few seconds. At first I thought it was a problem with my computer, but it worked great with other monitors and Thunderbolt cables. I had one from Apple that I carried with me every day and used it for 3 years before forgetting a conference room 3,000 miles away. I see that RevainBasics has published one. This is the…
