Product works but needs explanation

Works perfectly. I think people just have the wrong idea of what it does and how it works because it's not really explained in the product description. It exists for a very simple purpose: you can connect two network devices to a single existing network cable if for some reason you don't want to use another network cable or install a full Ethernet switch. I use this kit to connect two IP cameras without running a second cable.*** How it works ***Normal network cables have 8 wires. All 8 wires…

Works great if you know what it's supposed to do

I have a category 5e cable from my garage to my first floor where I have internet and a category 5e cable from my garage to the second floor Floor. If I need wired points at both locations then I need to have a router in the garage. This is certainly doable with Unifi USG. And then set up WiFi in both places. But instead I have a Google Wi-Fi device on the first floor. So I use this to connect WAN and LAN with the same cable. If I buy Internet over 100Mbps I will change my mind but so far it's…

Magical Abracadabra

These connectors worked perfectly. I had to connect to my WiFi router on the other side of the house from my security DVR. Only 1 ethernet cable went from the modem to the wireless router. My modem only had 1 Ethernet port. And the ethernet switch I bought didn't work to connect my phone to the DVR via WiFi. So I got them to relay the signal from my modem to my wireless router and then back to my DVR via a single ethernet cable. I can't express how impressed I was with how easy it was to hook…

Does exactly what I want!

I'm not sure about some of the negative reviews here. I think some customers just don't understand how these adapters are supposed to work. Anyway, they work great for me. My setup is as follows: I connected a cable TV ethernet plug to slot 1 of one of the modules. From my router (my home network) I connected one of its ethernet jacks to jack 2 on the same module (NOTE: my cable box needs to be on a completely separate LAN, which is just a limitation of the vendor's equipment). The connector on
