I love the spoon - it makes a PERFECT cup of coffee. Easy to clean. Get an extension cord if you're going to plug it into an outlet on the floor - it's a short cord. Just a complaint, and it's not exactly a fair complaint. I would have liked the corresponding cup to be a little bigger. The fountain holds more water than the cup can hold. Simple solution - use a large mug. I just love what comes with it. Spring.

After wasting a lot of coffee in my 12 cup coffee maker I was looking for a cheap, simple and easy to use coffee maker. Cafe Uno was just what I needed. I use my favorite ground coffee and it's easy to use. Because I like filtered coffee, I found that I could put coffee in a regular 4-cup filter, roll it into a ball, and it fits perfectly in a cup holder. I liked Café Uno so much that I bought two more as gifts for my relatives.

This little thing takes more trouble than it's worth. Brews very slowly. But the worst part is that it makes a big mess with just one cup of coffee! It squirts when brewing, leaving a puddle of coffee in the brewing chamber, not to mention the need to clean the permanent filter. The cooking chamber is full of nooks and crannies that are difficult to clean. If you remove the small constriction nozzle, it removes the puddle inside, but more squirts out! This only yields a maximum cup of 10.5 oz…

First one I bought from Pic N Save (large quantities now) for the same price as this one and it has lasted 8 years. This requires an occasional vinegar treatment of the water as the minerals in the water will build up in the machine over time, faster if your water is hard (contains more minerals). The manual gives instructions, but I do it a little differently. I only brew the vinegar water halfway through the cycle and turn it off to let the solution stay in for a while, a few hours, or all…
