Description of ☕️ Premium Bone China French Press: La Cafetiere Lexi 8-Cup for Perfect Coffee Brewing

Made of creamy white, new bone china, this press is just as at home at the dinner table as it is over the breakfast table. This traditional French press is an easy and effortless way to make a great cup of coffee anytime. Because there is no paper filter to absorb any of the essential oils or flavors from the coffee, the richest flavor comes through. This press is perfect for making a single cup of coffee. This product is not dishwasher safe; hand washing is recommended.

I really wanted to love this French Press

I really wanted to love this French Press because it's beautiful, but every time I brewed tea I left a large amount of soil in my cup. The design is beautiful, but unfortunately the functional design leaves a lot to be desired.

Beautiful and functional

My friends always comment on this great french press. Plus, it makes the perfect cup of coffee. One small quirk we noticed is that when overfilled, the coffee tends to spill out of the spout when you press the coffee, so keep the water level an inch or two above the top.

Much better than Bodum

Firstly the coffee is warmer in it than in glasses (which is why I took the risk of buying a ceramic model). Another added bonus is that the silicone plunger works great. It is so finely woven that it only needs a quick rinse and it is completely clean. One of the downsides of French Press was that you had to unscrew the plunger parts and wash them individually or you would have that musty coffee smell all the time. However, this coffee maker is incredibly easy to keep clean.

We returned ours due to many functional issues

The design is great but the pressure function was extremely stable which made diving difficult. It was a bit difficult. When cleaning, the screen slipped off too easily so we had to reattach it to the plunger shaft every time we cleaned, which was difficult as there were only a few steps to install. Ironically, coffee often contained coffee grounds in the filtered liquid. When you pour hot water into a carafe, the beautiful white vessel becomes so thin and light that heat transfers very…

Good retro item, works great

This kettle matches my formal china almost perfectly and makes great coffee. Cleanup isn't as frustrating as I feared, and as long as you use good quality beans you'll be happy with the results. If you've never brewed coffee in a French Press, use 2 tons of coffee per 8-ounce cup (adjust to your liking). First pour coffee, then water (do not boil for a few seconds), mix and let steep for 2 minutes. Close the lid and plunger, press down (do not submerge or you will splash) and pour. If you leave

Nice if you don't try to use or clean it!

I wish I could return it! It was an overpriced mistake. What I love about this product is that it is beautiful. What I need more is a better design for functionality and cleanability. The tall, thin shape is difficult to use (you have to lift the coffee cup to pour) Only a small hand can penetrate it to clean it or scoop out the coffee grounds pressed to the bottom. The edge of the lid is also difficult to clean; cannot be washed in the dishwasher (holds water) or put fingers in the small…

Works as nicely as it looks

Was looking for a replacement French Press because ours was old and stained and we stopped using the separate plastic frame with handle as it was too much of a hassle to put it back on and to photograph. for cleaning. (Why we stopped using French glass presses and switched to plastic presses is precisely because of the dangers of turning the press on and off.) Now that we're cold brewing, the press sits on the counter in front of everyone much longer. It's time for an upgrade. Read all reviews…
