Works great on VW drums.

This tool really helped me when my rear brake drums were stuck on my Vw 69 Bus. The rear drums on early VW Buses used a press to install the drums which are factory tightened to 255 ft-lbs were of torque. All I had to do was use 3 correct length bolts from my local top gear and my percussion gun went right through the drum.

Very durable - works great.

Very happy with this puller - it enabled me to remove two rusty drums from a 1970 VW bus that I could not remove any other way. As mentioned in other reviews, I had to buy long screws locally to use with the puller fingers. In my case, the diameter of the bolt connection was almost too big for the puller, and it was easier for me to get good force distribution by attaching a finger to the iron angle, which was then attached to the puller. drum (see fig.). This puller is very durable - veryโ€ฆ

Damn I love this thing (used on VW 5-wide)

This was hard to fit on my old VW 5-wide with 14mm lugs (it's an old drum 211501615A) but wow after i got the heels i really had to hit it with a huge hammer and punch. And the thing withstood the blow without any problems and did its job. It was very difficult to remove this drum and I absolutely could not safely do it with anything else. Funny how naive I was with my first pair of pullers, which I destroyed in the process. Money well spent in my opinion. If you think you need it, get it! Itโ€ฆ
