Easy to see! for golf balls

Great balls from Calloway. You are very easy to see even if you deviate slightly from the fairway. They're great off the green and I play about 250 yards from the tee and mostly straight. I'll take another one for Christmas.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

My trainer said it would help, maybe it did?

My handicap improved after using Chrome Softballs. I'm not sure I can attribute all of the improvements to these balls, but they certainly didn't hurt. I find that a softer outer layer improves green response and I ride a little further as well. I'm buying a new pack today.

  • Certified
Cons
  • Some deficiencies

Great ball for the price

I started with Callaway "super soft", then tried Hex Tour, Titelist Pro V1 and now Callaway Chrome Soft. The chrome softball has been my favorite ball so far! Cheaper than the Pro v1 but seems to fly further and straighter with excellent green control and a soft feel. My only wish is that they are matte red.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Expensive

TRY IT, YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I didn't think the latest version could be improved, but this ball is definitely the 'new' version! Extremely soft feel. Launch higher with driver and fairway tree (metal) off target. Great wedge rotation and short irons on the field. Very soft feel and spin on chips and short fields. Great feeling from the stick. premium ball

A much harder ball than I expected

Caveat: I'm not a very good golfer - usually in the 48-53 range on a 9th name, not soft at all from my experience. I'm sure it's a good ball and not that difficult if you're a better golfer and accurate on the ball than me. However, for a golfer like me, they are very difficult to use and literally hurt my hands towards the end of a round. I would not recommend them to the average or inferior golfer.

  • Free for educational purposes

  • I don't remember

Looks like I have a new favorite!

I've been using the Pro V1x for ten years now. The launch feel, trajectory and all other aspects were the best ever. This year I decided to test the waters and see if there could be a better answer. I had previously tried options like the Titleist Tour Soft but wasn't impressed or surprised so I just decided to get the best balls from the top 3 manufacturers. Pro V1x is very good. I felt the TP5x was reliable but didn't offer any benefits. Callaway Chrome Soft is a different ball game, a…
