For the avid golfer this is a good economical solution for touring gloves. The Dawn Patrol feels like a touring glove but costs half the price. My main issue with the two I've had is that Callaway's solution to typical Velcro doesn't have the durability of Velcro. For the price I think these are the best golf gloves on the market. I used Sta-Soft and Weather-Soft for the past few years until I found them. Not only are they made from the same Cabrette leather as the Sta-Soft, they're cheaper and fit better than the Weather-Soft! In addition, the wear resistance of the gloves is excellent. The Dawn Patrol glove lasts longer than any other glove I've tried in 15 years of golf . I've done a head-to-head comparison of cheaper and more expensive gloves, and none of them last longer than the Dawn Patrol. I play in North Texas and it's hot there May through October. Even on the hottest of days, DP stays operational, even when drenched in sweat.
