Worked like a champ

Screwed on and works perfectly. I recommend changing the fuel lines at the same time. The clamp in front of the pump had to be readjusted due to a leak.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Poor kit

Short life - spare parts

Fits perfectly, worked great for about a month then left my wife on the side of the road and just stopped working. Put the old leak back in and everything was fine. spend money on OEM

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

They sent me 2 pieces and none of them fit! Bad product

They send me 2! The first does not work, and the second works for a few minutes, heats up and fails! Very bad thing, I sent it to mechanics 2 times

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Factor Set

Install motorcycle correctly

Came without instructions. If you're not mechanically savvy, you'll need to look elsewhere for guides. Definitely not the easiest assembly, but the part fits the bike.

Pros
  • I hold fists
Cons
  • Not sure

This is the one that fits the V-Star, not some of Revain's others

If you are looking for a Yamaha V-Star 650 fuel pump, this is the one that is compatible. There are others at Revain who say they do but have a different rubber mount that does NOT fit and a different type of electrical connection. Must. Note: This is a setup bear (at least if you have regular sized hands) - but that's not the fault of the detail.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Volume
