Since I bought my camper, the mesh door has never had a comfortable grab handle. I bought this bar in February 2013 during the cold winter months but never got around to installing it until we had nice weather over the weekend in June. It took about an hour to measure, drill holes and install the pole. Following the advice of other reviewers, I leveled the bar by measuring from the horizontal portion of the screen door rather than using a spirit level. As you can see from the photos I uploaded,

I had to buy this when we moved to Discovery. Or should I say Fleetwood had to install this bar on their screen door as original equipment. It's sturdy, reliable and good looking. Most importantly, this rod allows you to easily and effectively close the screen door when entering the car.
