Easily control your screen door. We needed it!

Installed this afternoon - 15 minutes - Cordless drill with 1/8" bit, pencil and Phillips screwdriver. We need it! It works out! and you can actually use this handle to operate the door. A screen door without this crossbar is difficult to grip, somewhat fragile, prone to screen mesh damage, and generally painful to open and close. This cross bar provides easy door control while boarding or outside and even if you're just reaching in to close the door it's solid and I expect it to last. Get in…

Camper Mesh Door Reinforcement and Comfortable Grab Handle

Since I bought my camper, the mesh door has never had a comfortable grab handle. I bought this bar in February 2013 during the cold winter months but never got around to installing it until we had nice weather over the weekend in June. It took about an hour to measure, drill holes and install the pole. Following the advice of other reviewers, I leveled the bar by measuring from the horizontal portion of the screen door rather than using a spirit level. As you can see from the photos I uploaded,

A must have for your RV screen door. Must be original equipment!

I had to buy this when we moved to Discovery. Or should I say Fleetwood had to install this bar on their screen door as original equipment. It's sturdy, reliable and good looking. Most importantly, this rod allows you to easily and effectively close the screen door when entering the car. A common design issue with RVs is the position of the door in relation to the steps, as several steps must be climbed down to attempt to open the door latch.
