Not worth the price at all.

Filters the water well but we found plastic particles in the faucet when we cleaned it. We used this product on our water filter RV and it matched our hose horribly as well. Very cheap plastic and the threads were chipping and the fitting started leaking constantly. This filter is not worth the money.

3-4 months if you ask me

Keep your old filter in case this happens to you it can be fixed right away. You need to replace the windshield washer. The 2 on the left were delivered defective from the factory. 1 on the right came out of the old one in good condition. See fig. I personally use a filter used by 1 person and will last 3-4 months with normal daily use in medium to high sulfur and calcium well water.

Efficient and profitable!

These filters are excellent value for removing dirt such as chlorine from city water. I need the purest water for my vegetable crops and not killing microbiology in the soil. I've been using these filters for a year now and I can say that all my plants are doing much better than before. I had more fruits, vegetables, flowers and beautiful greens than ever before. I know these filters work because my son uses them for his garden and the amount of healthy plants has been great! We noticed a…

Ideal for the car wash.

Our water is very hard and chlorinated. Washing cars, especially black ones, always left water stains and I had to go back to the car with a finishing spray, which helped but didn't always remove everything. I've wanted a water filter for a long time but didn't want to spend that much so I didn't pull the trigger until I saw these. I figured if it lasted 6-12 months and just used it to wash cars it would be worth it. Easy to install, a hose is screwed in, then a water nozzle is screwed in. Car…

Works well - Plumbing

I needed this to water my garden. I attached it to the end of a hose and connected my irrigation lines to the end of my water filter and it was that simple. Don't forget to attach it to the end of the hose and let the water run until it runs clear. There was a significant amount of carbon that escaped when I built the mine. I don't want it running in my tap water or in my irrigation lines to possibly clog them. I reckon with just 2 watering cycles of 10 minutes per day this should be enough for

Very reliable filter!

Works great in our 5 wheel camper that we live in all the time. We combine the two in series to get the best flavor since the well water we usually use smells VERY sulphurous. One trick we found: We found that after several hours without water, we still had a sulfur smell. After running water for a few minutes, the smell disappeared. We suspect the sulfur is seeping to the 'top' of the water chain - meaning our RV is the highest point on the property. Because sulfur is a gas in this form, it…

Great if you don't want your water to taste like poop!

You have read all the reviews and are about to buy these filters. Consider a few other camping tips. At most campsites, the groundwater is disgusting. You're probably smart and don't drink tap water anyway (buy a $4 bottle of water at Sams or Costco and know you're not drinking parasites). BUT, if you want to cook or do what I do and accidentally drink water in the shower or while brushing your teeth, safety reason alone is enough to buy them. A few helpful tips: - I always place them directly…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • will write later

This is the standard for drinking water filtration for your RV or similar situation. It does a pretty good job of purifying camping drinking water, which can contain hard minerals that can build up over time and wreak havoc on your water supply. The water tastes decent from someone who mainly drinks filtered water at home and bottled water on the go. One filter should be enough for "one season" camping. If your score is above average, consider changing your filter more often. I would assume…
