Optimized Cleaning Brush Kit for Camelbak Review

The long, thin brush is for cleaning the hose, right? The connection between the bladder and the hose twists at a sharp angle that doesn't let them pass. You have to put it through the sipping end and it won't go all the way. Shit considering it's actually sold by Camelbak.

I use it every day. I only use reusable straws, so I'm grateful to have a product that allows me to clean the inside of a straw. I use it to clean the straw and valve on my best bottle and it works great for that purpose. My only complaint and what keeps me from 5 stars is that the metal part where the bristles are is rusting. What does not scream me for cleanliness. Fix this issue and get a 5 star product.

I spent over a year cleaning my camel cow's whistle with an unfolded wire hanger which I wrapped in a paper towel because it was too cheap to buy this kit. I have a Camelbak hydration pack. I use it for water or an electrolytic drink without sugar. I usually just flush the reservoir, run water through the hose and clean the bite valve with soap. (I've read that using soap on the reservoir and hose leaves a soapy aftertaste.) But I know that a good cleaning is sometimes necessary. This product is easy to use and perfect for my camelbak! I knew by the time I delved into this product I would probably hate this product. The thinner tool is not long enough to reach the end of the pipe. It's also not very absorbent, leaving the hose almost as wet as before. It doesn't even scratch, so I'm not sure why it's so thin. I spend way too much time spreading it out and wiping it down with paper towels so I can absorb a little more next time. I keep doing it. A wider tool is useless.
