Spare straws are too long

Spare straws are 5/8 inch too long. It's even longer than stated on the back of the box! "I'm going back. I bought a combo pack of baby fizzers and spares to replace the missing straw in the other bottle we have. I *assume* if I bought them together from Camelbak it would fit .I was wrong Camelbak , you need this solution Long straws will cause leaks and give you bad reviews.

The straws are too long for a children's cup.

The mouthpiece is great for baby camel breast but the straws are too long. We have 10 12 ounce baby camel tanks and they don't fit in any of them. This is way too long compared to the regular straws that come with the set. The "normal" straw is longer on the left and the new one on the right. Luckily I bought it for the mouthpiece but wanted to share with others. I think you can shorten it if you have to, but that's up to you.

Possible fakes are best in the accessories

I have CamelBak baby bottles. I lost some straws etc so I ordered these spares. They don't fit in a children's camel. The straws are too long. I think they may be fakes or they are just mislabeled. They are longer than the original straws that came with the Camelbaks I bought. They are so long that you cannot unscrew the top again. The valves don't fit either. When I used them with the original straw, they leaked all over the place. I bought them because they were said to be made straight out…

Needs replacement

Ideal for CamelBak baby water bottles. Easy to replace. The silicone is soft and comfortable for babies to use, but also gnaws holes easily. To clean, you need to disassemble everything and use a special straw brush. The entire straw can be inserted from the top and the water seeps through everywhere. Didn't think this could happen but will leave it to my 3 year old grandson! They love the CamelBaks I bought them so they replaced the mouthpiece and straw rather than the entire water bottle.

Better straws than the ones that come with camelbak.

As other reviewers have said, YES the straws are longer but in my opinion even BETTER than the ones that came with Camelbaks. The reason is that the originals didn't bottom out and slipped off the rubber grip more than once rendering the bottle unusable as the straw was floating around freely. With this straw, the straw reaches the bottle without too much room to skip. Yes, you can still vacuum up the water and screw the lid back on. The rubber mouthpiece is the same as the original, so a…

Easily cut with a kitchen knife

I used these to replace the straws in my ca 3 year old Camelfish baby bottles which were not Eddy's new insulated model. Two different length straws that this product is intended for are shown on the back of the packaging as a guide to where to cut and the straws can only be cut with a sharp kitchen knife. Alternatively, once you have the bottle straws you can simply use them as a guide to trim them to size if needed. I only had to cut off about half an inch for them to fit like new. If you…

Works great - Camping

My child is 3 years old and 1/2 year later he chewed/teared a tear in the tip of his spout. 3 months old and has no signs of wear. I could be wrong but I think they are stronger than the ones that came with the kit. I would buy them again (but I hope I won't need them for a while). I had no trouble installing the mug. Works great like the originals. Edit: Added note that these replacements took a little over a year. I think it's pretty good for everyday use. Also note that my child loves to put

Straw length too long for Camelbak bottle

We bought the CamelBak baby bottle from a very reputable sports shop. My mother in law lost her straw so we needed a replacement. I liked that the bite valve is replaceable as mold and germs are always a problem. However, after swapping everything out and trying to close the lid, I found that the lid didn't turn easily. The problem was that the straw was much longer than the bottle itself. To tighten the cap the straw has to be tilted and it always ends up at the other end of the valve (valve…
