Troubleshooting is similar to advanced calculation

Mine was in restricted mode for almost a week. Then it stopped connecting everyone and just blinks different colors. It's a shame, because I really like the door lock, but it's not very practical without a WiFi module. Buy a Yale door lock instead. It seems to be working much better. Also, the candy store's customer service is terrible. They put you through 100 steps, you do them, then they ask you to make a video of yourself.

Works great, easy and efficient

Not sure why others are getting bad reviews? The only thing you need to make sure is that the WiFi hotspot is relatively close to Sesame. I have mine less than 10 feet away. The Bluetooth connection between the WiFi hotspot and the Sesame was also very reliable! I went one step further and included an API function that allows Homebridge to connect to a WiFi hotspot to enable HomeKit integration ;) As soon as the Homekit version of this module is released, I plan to switch to it to end theโ€ฆ

Seems to work after Janky installation.

I had to pair this with my device about half a dozen times to get it working. It says it must be within 15 feet to work. I've tried the exit at 15ft, then maybe 7ft, to no avail. The key is now about 2-3 feet from the device and is working. Even when it was in that location I had to pair it multiple times as the lock said it couldn't connect to Wi-Fi and at times it said it had disabled Bluetooth entirely. It's been about 12 hours and the lock is now working as advertised.

It works but is expensive; Check if you really need the WLAN function: Bluetooth is faster.

Why 3 stars? Cost ($70), no instructions, no required items (USB charger and/or cable), no 5GHz support, could be faster. See below for details. This is the adapter required to make your sesame lock work over the internet. (and not just physically around him, via Bluetooth). When I say internet, that includes using the Sesame app outside of your home, as well as voice assistants like Google Assistant, Alexa, IFTTT. The cost of this adapter includes not only the adapter itself, but also theโ€ฆ
