Good size and design glasses The packaging they came in was good with sections for each foam cheek. sealed two jars and noticed that the lids were not the normal stone seal color. They were bronze with white seals. Then, as always, they were immersed in boiling water, and after closing and boiling the jars for 15 minutes, the upper parts were bent. In the future I will stick to classic pot products.

I am so disappointed in these cans. So many things not to like. I've been canning for 50 years and I'm no beginner. I bought 2 cases and in both cases the seals have such minimal edge channeling that they don't seal well after water bathing. Some of the jars got water in the jams I was working on. Other glasses just didn't close properly - there was no suction. I need to jam some fruit and needed more pint jars than I had on hand. Unfortunately, the Kerr and Ball glasses weren't available fast enough, so I tried those. They are taller and narrower than standard half pint cans. This means that the bands and rings are not interchangeable with standard cans. It also means that the funnel I use to pour the jam into the jar doesn't really fit. The funnel should fit easily into the top of the jar without touching the inside of the jar when it's up. This…

The jars were easy to open from their packaging, with lids and rings already attached to the jars but loose enough to prevent accidental sealing.
