An ideal product for any type of consumer.

Got pros: the Elka 70-200 2.8 IS. Got cons: changing focal lengths is not done by turning the ring, but by moving the lens forward / this is not a problem, but for video shooters, it will be difficult to zoom in during shooting.

Excellent product, the best quality.

Application: sports, nature, heavy and not cheap, which does not allow the lens to move apart into the "trunk" the weight of the lens will not have a very positive effect on the bayonet, it is very useful to use a monopod.

Pros
  • It is convenient to catch the object due to the "trombone" Comfortable to work.
Cons
  • There are no drawbacks, you need to get used to its features: weight, dimensions and focus trombone.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

Well, After sigma - a device with 100-400 ugh, sorry, the latest events inspired me =) Well, Kenon will be 400 mm sharper, that'

Pros
  • Image quality, stub, zoom principle, weight.
Cons
  • It is inconvenient to wear at the attachment point, greasy prints quickly give the hood a bawdy look.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

but not for me, it drains the battery during long video shooting, With its small aperture, when using teleconverters, sharpness is lost a little, this is natural, say anything about the backlight, I don’t use it without a hood, it’ both in terms of workmanship, ?page=2

Pros
  • Focal length, Excellent stabilizer, No distortion, Sharp picture, No X/A
Cons
  • not found

Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

The unusual zooming mechanism ("spyglass") next to the focus ring, if you turn it with one hand, both will rotate, so it will be problematic to point at the object, because in a tight position you can’t pull out the tube, in case", lens hood, tripod ring, the quality of the photos will please you very much.

This is more than just an update of the original.

I've finally upgraded from the original and the word 'upgrade' doesn't even begin to describe how much of an improvement it is. Day and night. Long time. The images are clear even wide open. 4 speed IS delivers. Built like a tank and very fast focusing. Even shooting experience changes (not just IQ). As a wildlife photographer (who literally climbs through the woods every weekend), the lockable hood alone was a huge improvement. Paired with a high-performance camera like the 7D mkii, this lens…

The pros say JUST BUY. So I did and WOW!

I'll make it as short and sweet as possible: just buy it. I took the advice of a professional photographer who hired a Division 1 school to shoot all of their sports photography, and he told me that this lens worked as well or better than the $11,000 and $12,000 lenses, so I followed his advice and bought it and I was blown away. I am posting two shots taken with this camera, keeping in mind that the moon shot was only taken with a Canon Renvert T6i instead of my regular Canon 5D Mark III that…

Pros
  • Very good price

  • Slightly torn

Expensive? Yes. Its worth it? You bet!

Let me preface this post by saying that buying over $1700 is not a drop in the bucket for me and I had to sell a few pieces of equipment to make it work. This lens replaces the 70-200mm f/4L (no IS) and 300mm f/4L (no IS, yes, one from 1992). I wanted something with really good range and great image stabilization. About 6 years ago I rented a Mark I, a two-stroke version of this lens, so I could cover Air Force One and Obama's arrival in San Francisco for my website. I was impressed with the…

Pros
  • Happy so far

  • I have no negative feelings everything is fine

Terrific! for camera lenses

I've only had this lens for 2 months but have tried it. Probably 1000 shots+. Everything from insects to flowers, birds and landscapes. I use it on a Canon 7D Mark II and it's my lens of choice. Out of the box, my copy had a backfocus problem at 100mm, but a quick micro adjustment fixed the problem (-10). Since I shoot handheld, it was very difficult for me to get used to the extra 100mm of my EF 70-300L f/4-5.6 IS USM lens. I was nice when I was disappointed with how little I was given that…

My first great white lens

This is my first L lens. I recently upgraded the camera body to a 7D Mark II to capture the action at my kids' soccer games. The kit lens that comes with the camera (EF-S 18-135mm STM) has a limited focal length, so I need a longer telephoto lens. I aimed the L lens and decided I would need a focal length longer than 200mm and zoomed in to 28-300L, 70-300L and 100-400L (mark i). I quickly threw away the first and third because of the two-stroke, and the second for its price and drive is almost…
