But used and now bought

This camera is amazing! I bought it used, like new, with a small discount. This is a fantastic camera. I originally bought this for YouTube but it's great for any use. If a camera without a folding screen bothers you, I highly recommend downloading the software that comes on one of the CDs. One of the things you can download is called EOS Utility and it lets you see everything your camera sees when connected to a computer. It's even better than the folding screen in terms of size, and you canโ€ฆ

I'm amazed what this little camera can do

I just bought this Canon SL1 pack with an extra 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III lens, to upgrade it from my regular Samsung Wifi Point and shoot. I'm amazed at what this little camera can do! The size is perfect and it's very comfortable for me to hold it in my hands unlike others I've held. The quality of the images captured by this camera is great and professional. I was really shocked when I went to the park with my daughter and just photographed her playing. I tried the camcorder feature and was aโ€ฆ

Canon SL is now 1.7 years old and still the best Canon

Well I just recently sold a Canon 80d because I have a winner on a set of lenses, here she is also Canon SL1. It's so tiny but I love the picture quality. If you are traveling, this is your best choice. It's surprisingly small, smaller than my Panasonic Pro Kit, G9 and GX8. For these cameras I use because I can get a pro lens for less than the Canon which used to be my main lens. But I can't refuse SL1. Is it as technically sharp as my pro kit? Maybe not, but the sharpness depends on theโ€ฆ

Excellent entry-level DSLR

I have my Revain in mind Bought 3 years ago and I'm still using it and we still have a lot to learn. Once you delve as deeply into this camera as you can (and I'm still scratching the surface), you'll find that you're learning so much about cameras and photography in general. I shot in RAW, there was no time. It probably wasn't the wisest approach, but I'm impatient to the point of impatience and tend to learn in fits and starts to often take a few steps back before moving forward. But thisโ€ฆ

Great little camera for the price.

Know your expectations before you buy. This camera isn't designed to carry the 3-4 pound lens that others have complained about on this camera. It is not intended to replace your high quality full frame camera. It is not advertised as a professional wildlife and sports camera. But then again, it costs 1/3 to 1/4 the cost of high-end cameras, we can't expect it to perform the same. This is from the Rebel series, designed for ease of use, excellent image quality and light weight. Portability. Ifโ€ฆ

I would make this purchase again!

I love this camera! I bought it to replace my Canon xTi (bought in 2008) which was still working but I wanted a new camera because both the technology and my photography skills have improved in 7 years. When researching new SLR cameras, I had a hard time deciding on a camera. This was between t5, sl1 and t5i. I chose this one because it had a better light sensor than the t5 and t5i, but the price wasn't as high as the t5i. At first I thought I needed a more powerful camera to improve my skillsโ€ฆ

Great entry-level DSLR with advanced features

I'm a casual photographer who travels a lot and wanted to take my SLR with me. I also want to improve my photography as a hobby, although I have no plans to ever become a professional. Before this camera I had several compact digital cameras. Size: Although I knew what I was ordering, I could not go over the size. It's so small for a DSLR and so light. I checked several times because I didn't think it was loaded in my pocket, it seemed empty. No kidding, it's such a light weight. But still hasโ€ฆ
