Easy and simple way of monitoring systems

The ease at which you can see where faults occur in comparison with other tools makes this product one I've used many times over the years. There's nothing as such i dislike about it but maybe if there was more configuration options when adding new nodes - perhaps an option to automatically include them? But then again this would be very easy to implement so don't let me put ideas into peoples heads! As always CANalyzer has been excellent to use when diagnosing problems with existing products…

Very useful for creating software programs

I like that you can see the whole process of the message being sent through the network. This also lets the programmer know where they need to correct their errors. The program does not show you what part of the message was changed by each individual element in the network. This would be very helpful to understand the problem better. It's good to have a program that will let one build a CAN network without having to go through all the hassle of doing it manually. There are many times when I am

Great software for developing your own drivers / communicating between systems

I like how easy it is to use as an entry point into CANopen. It can be used with any platform (COSA, HEXIWELL, FPGA simulators). Its not always intuitive but with some work you can figure it out. I did have trouble getting a simple message across which seemed to require some additional effort. This was a problem at first and took additional time to fully grok the tool. But after some extra work it all came together. We now have an easy way to use the HEXIWELL interface but using COSA. The best
