Great notepad. The flange can be annoying.

Great notebook and quality paper. There's a magnetic flap that keeps it closed, which is nice but can be a little annoying and in the way when you're drawing.

Lays flat but lead doesn't come off well

This art book is great for sketching because it lays flat and your drawing can span both sides. The magnetic closure is great too. I think it would be perfect for traveling. At the same time, traces of graphite and colored pencil are not completely erased from this paper; this is really very annoying. If you need good drawing paper, consider the Stonehenge range of cotton paper.

The sketchbook arrived incredibly quickly and I am thrilled.

sketchbook arrived incredibly fast and i love it i recommend anyone in doubt to buy this product. The only reason I took a star off my rating was the packaging; Both sketchbooks came in a yellow paper mailer with a sheet of bubble wrap. Unfortunately one of the sketchbooks has a horrible dent on the corner of the hardcover, but the paper inside the sketchbook is excellent and that's the main reason I bought it. Still a great product, hope you have a better chance with the delivery

Beautiful in every way; Paper amazingly thin

This is a beautiful book; I love the binding, the cover and the magnetic tape. The paper is slightly off-white, smooth, with a very light texture (I agree with the "fine tooth" in the description), takes ink and pencil well. Unfortunately, the binding is very firm (therefore the pages are not quite straight); I hope it loosens up over time. The big stumbling block for me is that the paper itself is so thin that a regular pencil shows through (it doesn't bulge all the way out but is clearly…

It really is the epitome of the perfect sketchbook, at least for my use. As an architect, he embodies everything I need in a sketchbook.
