My daughter loves these knee pads and wears them all the time to all her games. She is very active and loves to slide on the hard floor while playing basketball. So far they are pretty neat and don't see any damage.

The pad itself is made up of lots of little heart pads, not one solid pad and I'm not sure it needs to be strong as it needs flexibility to work. My daughter fell very hard and didn't even realize she had injured her knee until she removed the pillow and the pad left a heart shaped bruise. So I think it works. Not sure if the bruising should still be there but it definitely helped with the bump and pain.

My son needs to wear knee pads so I've bought a few options over the years. This is the worst thing I've bought so far. They don't last at all what I should have expected given the low price but thought I'd give it a try anyway. Don't waste money. They held a tournament before holes and protective pads appeared in both sleeves. I would give them one star but they fit well and are cheap which is why they got two stars.

These things are great. I bought 4 pairs to wear under my pants every day at work. Sometimes I kneel to sample equipment, and during shifts I kneel on smooth concrete to pick up objects off the floor. I'm not sure how they will hold up when worn where they will be in direct contact with concrete. Worn under pants, they seem to last more than a year. They are so cheap that they can be replaced without hesitation if necessary. I wash them after every use and all 4 pairs seem to be holding up well
