Withstood over 100 uses and still works. Makes good espresso for the price. Even considering the price, the milk frother is not bad. You'll have to spend a lot more to get one that produces microfoam. Doesn't make you a cappuccino like a thousand dollar Starbucks machine, but still passable. Really easy to use and clean. Remember to wipe down the brew head after each use. I saw complaints about the leaking water tank and people complained about the plastic material for it. What other materials…

Really great value for the perfect coffee/cappuccino/latte maker

My last Capresso machine - also from Revain.com - lasted over 6 years and was sold for $50 Dollar she was a great buy. This one is simpler, more flexible, and produces a better cup of coffee or latte since we tend to brew. Note that unlike many models, this one does not come with a brew cup or carafe, but works very well with small cups such as the (mostly unbreakable) borosilicate cups offered here from multiple manufacturers/brands. With the matching base holder, it's easy to place a cup or…

Do not buy - Extremely bad design

The filter holder (sleeve) is poorly designed. You can switch between one cup and two cup inserts, but the holder's fit is very loose. If you insert it into the notch and turn it 90 degrees, it will rotate back towards the notch due to friction from turning on the espresso machine. If you try to tap on it to get the old bases out, the filter holder will either fall out completely (because it screws itself up to the notch) or get stuck. If you do not notice this when you fill in new coffee…

The best espresso/latte/cappuccino machine for the price

We are big fans of Capresso, their American staff, support and most importantly this product. We were "gifted" restored many years ago. We just bought a 4th after 6-8 years. They are workhorses for us. We typically brew 4-6 cups of latte a day. I have one at my apartment in LA and both of my sons have the same device. In my experience they are bulletproof and last forever. Our last purchase was after a 2 year old had a drop in blood pressure. When there was a problem we called the New Jersey…

Best Homemade Espresso

Received this as a birthday present for a family member. They've told me many times how much they love it and how good the latte is, but I finally got a chance to try it myself when I visited recently and they definitely didn't exaggerate. Espresso looks and tastes like in a café - full, strong, dark, with lots of foam. The milk evaporates with a smooth, creamy foam that's absolutely perfect. Coffee is prepared quickly, milk evaporates quickly. It usually takes about 5 minutes to prepare a…
