Description of High-Performance Carbide Tungsten Flutes Milling Straight: Precision Cutting Tool for Superior Results

2-12mm End Mill Set: This end mill set includes 8 diameter sizes of 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, satisfy your different needs. Material: Tungsten steel Carbide has the advantages of high hardness, wear resistance, toughness and corrosion resistance. It also has stronger heat resistance than HSS, so it can maintain hardness even at high temperature. Tungsten steel is mainly composed of tungsten carbide and cobalt, accounting for 99% of all components. Tungsten steel is also called cemented carbide and is considered to be the teeth of modern industry. Detail design: High-precision cutting edge with suitable negative forefoot design, taking into account the strength and sharpness of the cutting edge. At the same time, the large core diameter is used to enhance the rigidity of the tool and make the cutting and chip removal stable. Wide Application CNC End Mill:It can be used on many fields, such as metal processing, CNC machining and engineering using. Large chip flute design for smoother chip removal, making the workpiece smoother and brighter. Package Included:8 x 4 Flutes End Mill Cutter.

Good value for money, cheap driver.

Cheap end mills, real carbide. They're perfect for novice machinists who can cuss and cuss for forgetting to set the X-axis motor to a proper speed before turning it on. But then you can smile because it's not the $80 you just broke. Really decent for the price.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Nothing here

They cut and mill! Just go slow!

I am very happy with these bits although I didn't like that the length of the cutters went up too long (towards the tip of the drill). nice if they had a small cutting length of 1/8 inch. However, my end mill was flawless (even the first time!) I still laugh at how easy it was.

Pros
  • Confidence inspiring
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Real carbide, very cheap

So far I've drilled a 1" pocket 1" deep in mild steel with a 10mm end mill with no problem. Run at 2500 RPM at 5.5 inches per minute with a depth of .1875 inches per pass and a 20 degree incline at 5.5 inches per minute. As a CNC hobbyist, I make my fair share of gcode errors, it's a lot nicer to rip down a $35 set than a $100 bit. I will continue to buy them here as long as the price stays the same.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Only available in black

They are actually made of tungsten carbide.

I've seen the term "tungsten carbide steel" before and the products turned out to be mostly high speed steel with (maybe) some tungsten in the alloy so I was skeptical when I saw the title of this one list . Haven't used these end mills yet so can't comment on how well they work, but their extremely high density (very heavy for their size) leaves no doubt that it is indeed tungsten carbide!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • String is shorter than other picks

Bought for a CNC milling machine.

These end mills are not suitable for woodworking as the nitrile coating causes some sticking of the wood material. However, they worked great and offered great resistance to my clumsy indulgence. I managed to break 3mm after trying to zero a piece of solid wood without turning the spindle. In fact, he lasted longer than I thought he should have. In general very satisfied.

Pros
  • 2-12mm End Mill Set: This end mill set includes 8 sizes with diameters of 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm to meet your different needs .
Cons
  • Wrinkled

Yes, they are actually tungsten carbide!

I was expecting HSS to have some sort of carbide-like coating, but it's actually solid TC. I don't do any serious work with them, I just work with a cross vise on a large mild steel and carbon steel drill press, but overall these things still make good chips. I have no idea how they will perform in a real grinder, but if this drill press setup indicates they should cut like butter.

Pros
  • Package Includes: 8 x 4 Flute End Mill
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Can't beat the price!

I bought these bits for personal use after hours and for side projects at the machine shop I work at (I won't pay to replace the end mills they have). I can say they work just as well as the more expensive ones. Using a 12mm end mill, I made a 1.5" slot through a 2.125" D2 shank with a depth of cut of .187-.25" and did it much faster than I would have on a Bridgeport should do. If they can ram through tool steel, they can easily penetrate any of the softer materials!

Pros
  • Detailed Design: High-precision cutting edge, with matching negative forefoot design, considering the strength and sharpness of the cutting edge. At the same time, the large core diameter is used to increase the rigidity of the tool and ensure stable cutting and chip evacuation.
Cons
  • Not sure
