My son and I were shocked at the decals when we found out the retail price for the carburetor required for his Onan Cummins 5500 alternator for his toy dump truck. Fits perfectly and the engine runs like a champ. I ordered another one as a backup and kept it in a toy carrier.

This carburettor was identical except for the fuel filter which I was unable to change. I had trouble placing the included fuel filter so that it wouldn't conflict with the air box. After installation it started immediately, worked 1/2 hour.

I bought an OEM carburetor for about $350 last year, it started giving me problems, probably old gasoline but I couldn't clean it so I bought this carburetor, I was a bit hesitant about cost but it arrived, looked exactly like the OEM, I installed it and the presto alternator is running again, better than the OEM I think.

Received it in a day and took about 10 minutes to install. Downloaded after installation and started immediately. Let it run for about 5 minutes, then turn on TWO AC units to make sure it's running under load. Worked great. Gulped a bit when turning on the 2nd air, which is normal, and then accelerated to operating speed. Amazing Carb is $300 less than Factory Onan Carb. You can't go wrong with this.
