Ideal for a gasket kit. The needles fit, but the needle cylinder does not! Various carvings. I have an Edelbrock Performer 1405 carburetor.

Parts came boxed as if assembled into a kit in someone's garage. This kit will not work with the 1409 marine carburetor. It is missing the fuel pre-filter and gasket. Also incorrect float valve assembly. Buy an Edelbrock kit first so you don't have to do it twice like I did.

This set was well packaged. Excellent quality pads. The kit included everything you need to assemble the carburetor. There are a few extra double pads in the kit which I will save for future use. My carburetor is back in the car and works perfectly.

I have an Edelbrock 1406. The ONLY used parts from this kit are the seals. None of the other parts fit. I take back my words, the piston fits. But the hole in the brass was too small for the S-hook that connects to the throttle. But I think spending $20 on pads is reasonable. Just kind of freaked out

The price of this kit is good but the threads on the needle seats are not the same as the original. This is the complaint of many I've seen. A couple of gaskets had to be changed and the throttle body gasket just doesn't fit. Put new gaskets in the carburetor, although it was necessary. The supplier or manufacturer needs to address these issues.

I have been rebuilding carburetors since 1985 and have rebuilt about 150 carburetors and this is the worst kit I have ever bought. It was missing one of the needle valves, as well as diagrams or instructions. The accelerator pump was also wrong and I had to buy it separately for more than the cost of the entire kit. I will never skimp on a set again because this one taught me a lesson: you get what you pay for.

Great set! Fits perfectly on my Edelbrock 1406. Everything fits perfectly except for the needle seats. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars. They were the wrong size/pitch for my carburetor. Seats may work on some other models. However, it's okay. I just put the old seats back on and used the new needles, which worked great! No more sticky needles!
