Carburetor gasket is not good, it expands and prevents the float from closing and fuel just spills out of the carburetor

Less than 4 months old. It ruined my carbs. He turned the pads into jelly and now my carbs are so stuck I'll have to buy new ones...

Float seats were incorrectly threaded. The orange shell liners are not gas resistant. Fuel has eaten the gasket and dirt has seeped into the bowl, damaging the carburetor. (x2)

I received the package and after covid finally removed 2 carburetors to service their vital parts when the carburetor was rebuilt the float, needle and seat were the wrong size.

Gaskets and rings were a good replacement. The float valve seat did not match the original threads so I could not use it, but the new float and pin work great with the old seat. Most of the parts that came with the kit were not made for this particular carburetor, but with this kit it was possible to completely rebuild it.

I used it on my 115hp Johnson carburetor rebuild project. The seats that came with this kit didn't fit my carburetor, I had to reuse my old stuff. I installed a needle, new gaskets and o-rings on the fuel tank drain holes. The floats looked ok too, however a lot of the kit stuff that I threw away was possibly for different models. Bottom line I wouldn't buy again, try to find a US made kit or at least a reputable brand. (after season 1 I had to rebuild again because of inferior sealing…
