Well it's solid and well made. Good aluminum. Lubricant. Repumping (to the point of hand fatigue) and NO greasing. Now I need to clarify the suspicion of an airlock. The mirror fitting at the end of the tube is difficult to remove from the mirror fitting. I had to pull and unscrew it.

Appears to be well made. Except that the piston mechanism is defective. I used two 3 ounce cartridges to lubricate what needs to be done in a quarter cartridge. Holds no pressure. I would not recommend it. I've had a really hard time finding a good mini 3 ounce cartridge grease gun. My two previous purchases (not from Revain) were also very bad. Maybe the 14oz shotguns are better quality. They're bigger and bigger than I need, but I've had trouble with those lousy mini grease guns.

Don't waste your money on this junk. I thought I was buying a quality product and I was wrong. At the same time as buying this product, I also bought 3 packs of mini fat containers. The sole purpose of a grease gun is to lubricate properly!?!? Not with this garbage. The piston pushes the grease out, leaving more grease in the spring than anywhere else. I really liked this grease gun at first. Lightly primed and working. Unfortunately, I had the same issues as others with grease leaking through the piston. I lost about 3/4 of a tube of grease behind the piston (see 1st photo). Contacted customer service and they were fantastic and sent a replacement. The same problem when replacing (see 2nd photo). I use this gun every 6 months. Worked great, when I first used it again a few months later the piston seal didn't work and the lube just leaked under spring pressure. I contacted the seller and Yakov immediately agreed to replace the pistol as defective. I plan to use a grease gun to fill Quicksilver 2-4-C with PTFE for my Mercury outboard. Also use grease on vehicle tie rod ends. The guide is good on loading a grease gun too. First of all, as others have reported, my pistol didn't have the CARBYNE logo on it so who knows what I got. Also, like others, I had a terrible spill of lube - it was useless. I wasted two barrels of grease trying to get it to work and was about to toss it in the trash when I noticed that the orientation of the rubber seal designed to push the grease out of the cylinder is BACK! Using a grease gun is inherently a messy endeavour, and this is where a lesson needs to be learned. I think a lot of the negative reviews reflect that fact and not the quality of the product itself. This grease gun is well built, mostly aluminum making it light weight but strong enough not to look cheap. The 12 inch hose extension makes it easy to reach hard-to-reach places. I have used this gun to lubricate the front axle of a John Deere tractor and the reels of a mower and it has worked well.
