My daughter LOVES her ice skates. I was worried she wouldn't learn to ride properly because the wheels are so different, but she had no problem. I'm glad I don't have to buy replacement skates until her foot is bigger than a size 6. I have a size 6 foot so I can technically wear them but haven't tried them. Finally, she never has to take off her shoes again. She can put on and take off her skates as often as she likes and never has to fiddle with her street shoes.

I bought these for my 8 year old son. They looked so simple in their signature video, but don't fall for it. They are not easy to learn! I also "love" how their practice videos are done by an Olympic speed skating champion. It doesn't help at all when it comes to teaching kids! Getting her back is another big challenge! MY GOD! If you try them on, which most people do when they try to review them, they deduct a 20% "restocking fee" PLUS you have to pay to ship them back, and from the East Coast

These skates are so fast they often break and fall unless your kid is already a pro. They're also so heavy that it's difficult to lift your legs and put one foot in front of the other, so it's more like skiing, which isn't the same. In general, the idea is great, but I'm disappointed. I can't get my 8 year old son to try again after injuring himself a few times.
