Description of Remanufactured Power Steering πŸ”§ Pump with Reservoir - Cardone 20-7877F

As a remanufactured Original Equipment part, this unit assures a perfect vehicle fit. All critical components (cam packs, spool valves, etc.) are triple-tested to ensure product reliability; Units are supplied with 100% tested and calibrated pressure relief valves. All units are built with 100% new O-rings and premium-grade HNBR seals to prevent leaks; HNBR does not break down at high temperatures like conventional seal material. Shafts are surfaced to precise specifications to eliminate premature seal wear and extend pump life; Final pump assembly is computer-tested to measure pressure, bypass, fluid flow, valve operation, steering effort and noise to ensure reliable performance.

Five Stars for Parts

Worked beautifully on my 1989 Wrangler 2.5. Really quiet! I hate throwing away my old pump. If you pay the shipping, I will send it to you for free.

Pros
  • Parts
Cons
  • Expensive

Steering System Stock

Mech. It worked, although I had to go to a local shop to have the pulley installed. Either the threads are stripped or they are much smaller than the pulley tool you can borrow from Autozone.

Pros
  • Steering System
Cons
  • Without Automatic

Has worked flawlessly. I had to loosen it with a wrench.

Works perfectly. I had to use an impact wrench to remove the mounting bolts from the old pump. So if you don't have one, you're going to have a really hard time. I also rented a tool from Autozone and it worked for me, so maybe the last reviewer didn't have the parts in the kit.

Pros
  • GUR
Cons
  • Sparse instructions
