Like New Best in Gearbox

I replaced my worn out 1999 F150 4x4 steering box and it now drives like new. The box no longer hangs, very tight. Very satisfied. I also received a basic refund.

Cheap poor quality junk

Terrible product This is your typical crappy remanufactured part that has been on the truck for about 2 years and is already very sloppy and leaking everywhere! Extremely annoying do not buy!

reverse transmission. for spare parts

Wrong product. It fitted perfectly as advertised, but had reverse, probably for a 2WD truck. It would be great if the information was in the description. Now I can't get it back as I installed it and found the gears were reversed.

Steering Column Was Bad

Me and this power steering gear and part was fine but the internals were happy in reverse and if you turn the wheel right the wheel turns left but knew what was coming it wasn't built properly

Good price, think again

Although it looks like a well refurbished part the only issue I had was the paint was peeling off very easily. But so far so good, I hope it lasts for a while. Update: I didn't even own it long enough to crack it and it completely wrecked the gears inside. The lid started leaking. I wish I could get my money back but you get what you pay for.

Perfect replacement part for steering issues F150 97-03

Installed on my 2000 F150 exactly as expected. The way trucks drive on the Autobahn has completely changed. The old box wore out and eventually broke, and before that the truck was always spinning a little on the track. Now it drives like new after about 1 month and 1000 miles in the new steering gear. The replacement was easy enough (don't forget to use Lock-Tite), but buying and installing it myself saved me at least $500-600, so I'm happy.
