I bought this for my 1994 Pontiac Firebird. This fixed an issue where my wipers wouldn't go to park when they were off. Installation was fairly easy, but be aware you will need silicone for installation to keep moisture out.

Turns out I don't need this product (yes it's tailored to my car) so please ignore my 3 stars -Evaluation . I decided to keep it for emergencies as I didn't think it would make sense to return it as it would cost me compared to the cost I would be reimbursed. I find A1Cardone reliable otherwise I would buy a genuine ACDelco device.

At first the parts worked. However, it took 2 attempts to get it right. The instructions say the contact should be 1 inch above the board. But if you look at the pictures then there is a very different fee in the directions. If you make a contact 1 inch from the board, you'll almost certainly break it (it's less than 1/2 inch). See my picture for reference. The instructions also say it comes with screws, which it doesn't. A tube of silicone sealant would also help. Buick from 2002

I searched the internet for a problem with the wipers on a 2000 Impala LS. They only work in Hi or Off mode. I've seen several videos on Youtube suggesting buying OEM just because there were minor differences. I went ahead and bought this and installed it. That works great. I also noticed that one of the caps was not in the same place as my OEM and the YT video specifically said not to buy for that specific reason. You were wrong. This device was cheaper, fit perfectly and worked as it should.
