Works great on a vintage Dodge

I have a 1989 Dodge Dakota 3.9L 2wd. These work fine. You're just a slut to put those old calipers in. Lubricate and assemble bolts after installation. Hats feel comfortable.

Pros
  • Tough finish
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Full size boots and caps

Locally purchased remanufactured calipers with smaller rubber boots and no caps. This kit perfectly replaces boots and allows you to use regular caps. Also includes appropriate size caps in case the originals are lost. Ease of installation.

Pros
  • Convenient item
Cons
  • Frequency

Excellent customer service.

Needed to install/repair a new caliper. The problem is that the caliper manufacturer doesn't list the same part that came in the package. This turned out to be an over-order and was not needed. A return request has been made and the return has been sent. Excellent customer service and understanding of the parts/usage situation. Thanks very much! David S

Pros
  • Good product for the price

  • Easy to service

OEM replacement to fit brake caliper bolts and pins

These are the bushings that the caliper slides on. These rubber boots are the gripping surface that affects pad contact with the rotor and release. Their rotors and pads change, as do those rubber parts. Go crazy and make caliper seals and boots! I assume it will be a floating caliper fitted with one hydraulic piston per caliper. Is the fuel consumption bad? Presumably the calipers are sticking to the pins and caliper bracket.

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Something else

Perfect replacement for 2004 Mercedes ML 350. Inspect and replace when you replace the brake disc or install a new caliper or every 5 years. Damaged anthers will not retain caliper pin lubricant, causing the caliper to stick to the pins and causing normal pad and rotor wear. Improve braking performance and extend the life of your brake pads and brake discs. Only use silicone grease in these caliper boots. Super Lube 92003 PTFE silicone grease, 3 oz tube, translucent white, excellent for…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Only available in white

Good quality for my VW

While doing maintenance on my car (VW Jetta TDI 2003) I noticed that the front caliper bushing was not lubricated and decided to buy new bushings and then lubricate them. I bought another brand that was so inferior that the bushing broke when I tried to install it! So I was looking for something else and found these, the reviews were good and I bought them. Installation is a bit tricky, I suggest using a very small amount of silicone based lube to slide it into the caliper, after that use a…
