No more belts! in Hardware

I'm tired of using traditional ratchet straps where the straps keep coming out of the ratchet or twisting and a friend of mine had one. THEY ARE BETTER! Bind what you need quickly and easily. I use them primarily to attach a 20 foot extension ladder to my Suburban. I would highly recommend them to anyone fed up with traditional ratchet straps.

The best tie straps I've ever used.

I have used these ratchets for many years. I have several in my truck, on my 4 wheeler and around. They are easy to use and very durable. I used them to attach them side by side to the trailer. The only improvement I would probably make is for the 1/8" version. Those would be the rubber coated hooks. I'd love to use them on my bike, but I don't like metal on metal with metal hooks that attach to my bike are.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

easy and very fast to create a reliable binding.

These things are priceless. I never realized how often I would use them. I have about 8 of various sizes scattered around my cars and in my home workshop. Securely, easily and very quickly tie down everything that protrudes from the trunk. Store things on the bike. Backup everything temporarily. They are fast and durable. Typically, small knots with 1/4" or less rope are more useful around the home. I use these larger 3/8" knots in the truck to tie heavier loads.

  • Ideal for outdoor activities

Better than Bungee Cords

Great Product; Easy to use. I use a 3/8" ratchet to hold my tough toolboxes in the bed of a truck. I tried the barbell and regular elastic cords only to find tool boxes scattered everywhere. This ratchet rope holds them in place well and is easy to let go of when I want to grab something. I use a 1/4" ratchet on the back to keep things close to the tailgate. And I keep an extra in case I might need to secure something else in the back of the truck. They work great too for securing tarpaulins…

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance

  • Slightly Crumpled

It worked great!

I used two of these to hang my Wenonah Wilderness solo canoe in my garage and they worked great! I know they have solo lift systems but the reviews have been really lame and full of stories about problems with them. Instead I decided to use these brackets to hang my canoe. So I may have to walk back and forth 2 times to lift the canoe but the trade off is I only have to do it 2-3 times a year, I saved over $20 and the rated weight is 5 times heavier than the Solo lifting system there. And while

They fit like a shirt pocket

They require at least 20 feet of rope. But ratchets strike a fair balance between economy and functionality. If they made everything out of steel the blocks could be smaller which would be good as the blocks are a bit bulky. However, the ease of securing a load (or whatever) makes it worth buying and putting up with the size of ratchets. I can't help but wonder why they don't offer an all-steel ratchet (weight, cost, or whatever). I think there will be others who care enough about molds and…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
