Bulk Buy Caron Simply Soft Collection Yarn 3-Pack in Pistachio Color (Model: H97COL-3) Review

Love caron. Very soft with a nice sheen, not dull or coarse like most yarns. I was very sad when my local shop stopped selling this color.

I knit scarves from other Caron Simply Soft "Rest" yarn and I needed other colors. Great color, the price was ok and I didn't have to go to the store. My local store had a sale of 4 skeins of Caron Simply Soft for $10. This sale did not include this color.

The yarn is so cool! This is the perfect base yarn for any project! Sometimes it breaks during use, but every yarn breaks. With his help I made these AWESOME frog hats. It's the perfect thickness and color. It came SO FAST! Three days early!

Very good and very soft, although one of the three strands had plastic scraps that looked like they came from the factory . Luckily I was able to use this skein, but I hate to see someone being sold with such obviously damaged merchandise.

I bought this yarn because I needed some more yarn to complete the project and I liked the pistachio color enough to get more for another project. Very disappointed with the color of this yarn. It's much more of a blue hue that makes it look very bland, while another pistachio I bought from the store had a golden hue that made the project pop. Caron Simply Soft (CSS) in the Pistschio colourway - a lovely light green with a warmer undertone than the light sage colourway. It's not as bright as it looks in the photo. I combine it with Dark Sage and Bone or Off White as a quilt as the white looks too light and the black doesn't quite match the green tones. If you want to do a 4 color mix with purple I recommend Purple, Lavender Blue, Dark Sage and Pistachio. This color does not work well with Light Sage or Sage as it makes it too…
