🧶 Caron Simply Soft Yarn Solids Bulk Buy (3-Pack) in White - #H97003-9701 Review

Excellent yarn for baby blankets. I like that it's on the lighter end of the worsted weight. I use this yarn with a 6.5mm crochet hook for a lightweight draped crib blanket. The texture and weave of the yarn is consistent.

I bought 3 packs of Country Blue and White. With the third track I noticed that it became much "thinner". Karon is a 4-ply yarn. As you will see in the photo. it's only 3 layers. So it has to be sent back. Suggestion: pull out from the center of the skin and check plys.

I usually buy karon for its consistency and softness. Last year I made 6 afghans for Christmas gifts. I haven't had a single strand with a knot in the middle. This last batch had a knot of about a yard per skein. I think this is an anomaly and I will still buy the Caron because it works best for me.

Well one of the three was perfect. All the way when I baked it. One of them had a few knots that I had to deal with and the wrappers weren't even wrapped properly or properly. And the third was decent for the first half mouth and then it was just rubbish 🤦🏼‍♀️ I needed this for an order and it doesn't OR look like the other just soft one I have. A complete waste of money.

Caron Simply Soft yarn is very soft and has a beautiful sheen. Also washes well. Multiple color options give you plenty of options for whatever you do. The only downside to using this yarn is that it can snag easily, which will result in snagging in whatever you do, which isn't always an easy fix. So watch your rings and make sure your nails don't snag. Beautiful products are made from this yarn, be it pullovers, blankets or children's things.
